In 2023, many people including myself, faced numerous challenges. However, it is important to not dwell on the difficulties and focus on the positive aspects of the year. Before flipping the calendar, let's take a moment to reflect on the good things that happened to us in 2023.
This morning, I shared a recap of my 2023 on my social media. I'm working on being more grateful and appreciative of what I have.
I'm proud of our daughter’s continued success in art school. My husband and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary in November and his 50th birthday in August. I spent a lot of quality time palling around with my best friend, had a fantastic year in real estate, and had the honor of officiating a dear friend’s wedding in Baltimore and renewing another friend's wedding vows closer to home. I also enjoyed spending time with my family and playing lots of bean bags.
An attitude of gratitude involves developing the conscious habit of regularly expressing appreciation for both big and small things in our lives. It could be our relationships, health, business, material possessions, the food we have in our cupboards, the running water in our homes, and our overall sense of well-being.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and leave a comment about at least one thing that you are grateful for in 2023.
Cheers to 2024!

I'm grateful for my husband of 55 years. His steadfast ways are a daily comfort that I do not take for granted. Blessed.
